growing up sucks.
my p.o.v.

i valued our relationship for a few reasons. you helped me learn a lot:
-you were the girl who liked me when i felt i was at my lowest point of self esteem.
-you made me believe i don’t need the superficial things i once thought i did.
-you were also the stepping stone which helped me handle post-relationship friendship. i became aware girlfriends are basically very good friends, and when you burn that bridge you really just lose a good friend. you helped me accomplish that, thank you.
-you got me to realize when starting a relationship, you need to build that friendship first before you get to the physical. a problem i had was i would be scared of the “friend zone” so i would rush. and the girls who would go along with the rush aren’t the girls i can build a firm foundation for an all around fulfilling relationship. and the ones who weren’t going at the same speed i was, i felt they weren’t into me. but really they were the ones who i should have stuck it through with.
-you helped me grow up, you weren’t a waste of my time. i’m glad we’re friends.
